Climb on board a double-decker open-top bus, with a retractable roof for when it rains, and marvel at the city’s top attractions comfortably. Moreover, all buses are electric, contributing to the preservation of the environment.

Learn about Marrakech’s rich history and culture with interesting pre-recorded commentary in English and other seven languages, as you ride through the city on an air-conditioned vehicle. All buses are also adapted for guests with reduced mobility.

Discover the city’s most important landmarks by taking the two routes. The red line explores the historic center and the green line explores the palm grove. Your ticket will be valid for the two lines, which you can use on the same day or the next day. You choose!

Historic route (red line)

The whole journey takes 1.15 hours and has 18 stops throughout the Old Town of Marrakech. Enjoy panoramic views from the open top and marvel at its numerous sights, including the Royal Theatre or the busy Jemaa el-Fnaa Square.

Frequency: these sightseeing buses run every 20 minutes every day of the week.

Palm Grove route (green line)

The green line takes one hour to do a full tour and has 13 stops. On this tour, you will observe the exuberant nature of Marrakech’s famous palm grove, as well as the beautiful Majorelle Garden and other green spaces of the city.

Frequency: these sightseeing buses run every 60 minutes every day of the week.

How it works

Activate your ticket the first time you hop on a tour bus. From then on, your ticket will be valid for the following 48 hours. For example, if you take a Hop-On Hop-Off bus on a Monday at 10am, you can enjoy the sightseeing buses until Wednesday at 9:59am.

During the validity of your ticket, you can climb and get off the bus as many times as you wish at any of its stops and take any of its two lines.

Schedule

Both the historic route (red line) and the Palm Grove route (green line) run every day of the week:

• From 1 October – 31 March: from 9am until 6pm.
• From 1 April – 30 September: from 9am until 8pm.

Starting point

Both routes depart from the Marrakech Tourism Office. However, you can hop on at any of its numerous stops.
